Ronda Rousey returned to MMA in triumphant fashion Saturday when she defeated fellow women’s MMA pioneer Gina Carano in their main event on Netflix.
UFC Hall of Famer Rousey (13-2) got her hand raised for the first time since August 2015 with a 17-second submission win over Carano (7-2) in the women’s featherweight bout. But as soon as she returned to the sport to create a big moment, Rousey will seemingly exit back into retirement.
Regardless, she carried the sport to a big moment with MMA’s debut on Netflix, and many eyes were watching.
