“Today, my heart is heavy,” a statement on the GoFundMe page started by Pacquiao reads. “General Santos City – my hometown, the place that shaped my life – has been deeply affected by a devastating earthquake.

“Families are grieving, homes have been damaged, and many people are facing tremendous hardship and uncertainty. Please join me in praying for every person affected and asking God to bring comfort, strength, and peace during this difficult time.
