Tai Tuivasa has struggled in one specific area since making his UFC return earlier this year.

Fans have been calling for Tuivasa to hang up the gloves due to his current losing streak inside the Octagon.
While ‘Bam Bam’ was once pushing his way toward title contention after five consecutive finishes, he hasn’t had his hand raised since 2022.
Tuivasa’s skid being extended to seven fights this past weekend led one of many Domino’s Pizza accounts on social media to make light of his recent defeats.

Tai Tuivasa’s coach was optimistic about him turning things around after showing a lot of commitment after he ended a long run of inactivity earlier this year.
Things didn’t go his way, which led to MMA reporter Giorgi Kokiashvili reposting an image that previously circulated online of ‘Bam Bam’ working for Domino’s Pizza.
After being asked, “This person brought me a half-eaten pizza, what am I supposed to do?”, the Georgian social media account for the fast-food chain responded, “Wrestle”.

While the 33-year-old lost striking battles to the likes of Ciryl Gane and Sergei Pavlovich during his current streak, it’s a different area of his game that has been exploited as of late.
Back in February, Tuivasa joked that he’d enlist the help of Khamzat Chimaev in order to improve his wrestling after being beaten by Tallison Teixeira.
Louie Sutherland was able to have success with a similar strategy to the Brazilian at the RAC Arena in Perth, Australia.
While the Brit is known for his power, he was able to record nearly 12 minutes of control time from five successful takedown attempts to beat Tuivasa via unanimous decision.
